Company Profile Engineering and Manufacturing Co. (Pty) Limited, a family-owned business founded in 1942, specializes in the manufacture of metal forming and blanking machines, and associated ancillary equipment. Originally located in Johannesburg, the company expanded and moved to larger premises in Germiston and then Alrode, Alberton. In 1984, the assets and business were transferred to the Graham Susan Ellett Trust and operated as two separate divisions: Engineering Manufacturing and Engineering Foundry. The Foundry Division was sold to a large public company in 1988, and the Manufacturing Division relocated to a new site in Alrode, focusing on research and development to provide the local market with state-of-the-art machinery designed for South African conditions. The company’s policy is to continuously improve existing designs and never compromise on quality for price, as reflected in the trust and loyalty of its growing customer base through repeat orders
